Privacy Policy

Hello Astro is operated by KolabX Entertainment Private Limited ("we"). This page explains what the app does with your information.
What you give the app
- Your name, gender (optional), and date, time and place of birth.
- The questions you type, and what you say aloud when you use voice.
- Palm photos, only if you choose to send one.
There are no accounts: no phone number, email or password is asked for.
Where it goes
- On your phone: your birth details and the text of your recent conversations are saved in the app, so you do not have to enter them again and so your full report can take them into account.
- Our server: your details, messages, voice and photos are sent to our server (Google Cloud, Mumbai) to calculate your chart and produce replies. The server keeps a conversation only in its working memory and discards it after two hours without activity. It does not write conversations, birth details, voice or photos to a database.
- Payments: minutes are paid for inside the app through Razorpay. The mobile number you enter for a payment, and your UPI, card or bank details, go to Razorpay and your bank; we never see or keep your card, UPI PIN or bank details. We keep only the Razorpay order and payment reference, the pack bought and the wallet it was added to.
- Minutes: the app creates a random wallet number that says nothing about who you are. Our database keeps only that number, the minutes left on it, and a record that a purchase was credited.
- Google Gemini: to write or speak each reply, our server sends your chart, name, messages, voice audio and any palm photo to Google's Gemini API. Google processes this under its own API terms and privacy policy.
- Place search: the city name you type is sent to the Open-Meteo geocoding service to find its coordinates and time zone.
- Usage counts: to understand how the app is used, our server keeps counts for all phones together: how many opened the app, on iPhone or Android, from which state or city, how many minutes were talked and which packs were bought. The state and city are approximate and are worked out from the internet (IP) address at the moment the app opens; the address itself is not kept. With the wallet number we keep only the platform and that approximate state and city.
- Hosting logs: like any internet service, our hosting provider records technical logs (such as IP address and time of request) for security and reliability.
Permissions
- Microphone: only while you are in a voice conversation.
- Camera and photos: only when you choose to take or pick a palm photo.
What we do not do
- No advertising and no tracking across apps or websites.
- We do not sell or rent your information.
- We do not build a profile of you.
Children
The app is intended for adults aged 18 and over.
